Privacy policy
Last updated September 2026. The short version: this site sets no cookies of its own and asks for nothing.
What we collect. Nothing that you provide, because there is nothing on this site to fill in. There is no account, no newsletter signup, no comment form and no contact form. The only way to reach us is by email, and if you send one, your message and address exist in that mailbox until the exchange is finished.
Cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics package, no advertising tags, no social widgets and no third-party trackers.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested - IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser user-agent and referring page. This is created automatically by the web server, is used only for security and diagnosing faults, and is not combined with anything else or used to build a profile. Retention follows the provider's default period.
Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. That request is subject to Google's own privacy policy. No other external resource is loaded.
External links. Pages link to other websites, including reference sources and, occasionally, retailers. Once you follow a link you are on that site and its privacy policy applies. We have no control over and no visibility of what other sites do.
Children. This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights. Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Given the above, the honest answer in almost every case is that we hold nothing beyond an email exchange if you started one. Requests can be sent to the address on the contact page and will be answered within 30 days.
Changes. If this policy changes, the revised version will appear here with a new date at the top.
